About Us
Virtual Collaborative Network
Our web-based platform connects the provider community via the Internet, providing a virtual collaborative network. Referring providers can access records, track progress and share information on their computers in real time. All of the collaborative communication is done in a secure 100% HIPAA compliant environment.
Patient-centered Community Approach
teamlinks gives you one centralized medical record for each patient where the patient is the center of the care. Providers can update the record and communicate it electronically to other providers. Each EMR is also an electronic Personal Health Record for the patient via www.ushealthrecord.com This creates a unique marketing opportunity for your community.

History
To put the philosophy of Interdisciplinary Dentofacial Therapy into a more
systematic form of practice, Dr. Richard Roblee and his collaborative network
began working with one comprehensive charting notebook for each patient in 1991.
Countless man-hours were spent to identify and refine the needs of this common
chart. Each patient had one common demographic form and health history with each
provider’s notes and suggestions in the notebook. The notebook would travel to
each provider that the patient saw, and the provider’s notes were placed into
the chart for the next provider. While the concept worked well initially,
eventually it became very difficult to keep track of, circulate and store all of
the notebooks. There had to be a better way.
This led to the need for a different solution, and Dr Roblee began investigating
existing Internet platforms for the development of a comprehensive internet
accessible patient record system. Not finding an existing solution that met all
of his needs, Dr. Roblee started to develop his own. With the technical help of
his brother, Joseph Roblee, who was one of the leading Lotus Notes developers in
the United States at that time, a prototype application was completed and in
test stage by August 1997. This platform went into production in October 1997,
and the company IDT Network.com was incorporated in Nevada in 1997.
In April 2000, IDT Network.com incorporated in Delaware under a new name, RxDDS,
Inc., with a new co-founding partner and investor from Cleveland, Ohio. RxDDS
tested a beta version of the collaborative platform for more than a year in over
20 dental offices and made several enhancements before officially entering the
marketplace in July 2003. In keeping with the IDT ideal, the collaborative
platform system was established around a centralized electronic patient record
that would be accessible from the internet and allow healthcare providers to
access patients’ charts, thus centralizing the storage of health information
which could then be shared. This collaborative platform, named teamlinks, was
not designed to offer an embedded practice management solution, but rather
interface directly with existing business management systems that were more
commonly used by the healthcare providers.
In 2004, Dr Scotty Bolding joined the founders, spearheading the development of a more
functional clinical charting system and the development of a more comprehensive
Electronic Medical Record interface for the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
specialty, which could work directly with a patient’s personal Health Record.
The Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Electronic Medical Record was first released
to the market in September 2005, and it is the only electronic medical record
created by an oral surgeon for use by oral surgeons. The brilliance of the
teamlinks platform is that it was developed by actual healthcare providers and
used extensively in their actual clinics. The company knows that teamlinks
provides a superior service because Drs. Roblee and Bolding use it daily in
their own practices.
